The Story Thus Far…

The Fafner family: Kalen, Laurana, Rose and Apoll (the dog), moved from Shreveport, LA to Dublin, Ireland. Their hopes were to have connect to their Fae heritage and start there life over after an attack by Laurana’s father, the High Prince of the Fire Fae. Laurana had began to serve The Ancients. The Ancients are a group of Fae God lost to the shadows and almost forgotten.

Life seemed to be slow, peaceful and perfect until the Lady Arabella contacted Laurana. Lady Arabella was a 400 year old vampire who also served The Ancients. She was to be Laurana’s tutor and mentor as she explored her new powers.

Meanwhile, Kalen, who was a former assassin, began feeling restless. He longs for the days back at the Fae Guild. He’s been contacted and asked to return to the Guild as a trainer. After talking with Laurana, Kalen sells his company and he returns to the Guild.

As Laurana progressed in her magic, Lady Arabella was plotting to get back in with her Maker and former lover Lord Nicholas. She told her human servant, Adrian (a werewolf) to inform Nicholas of the Fafner’s and their talents.

Nicholas intrigued sent his human servant Christian to see for himself. Arabella and Christian hated but tolerated each other until Nicholas summoned her and the Fafner to his estate in the country.

Nicholas longed for their power. He wanted to use them for his own means but knew that the Fafner’s were willful and wouldn’t trust him. At the meeting he offered to protect them from all others if they would in turn worked for him. They refused.

Meanwhile Arabella was trying to win back Nicholas. Its true he loved her as she loved him,  he wasn’t falling for her advances. She blamed Christian when she was sent back to her home and club.

The Fafner’s hired a young witch Valerie as a personal assistant for Laurana. She studied with Laurana and soon moved into there guest house. Everything seemed to settle down.

That is until Azazeal, an Ancient Demon emerged. He had come to collect Arabella after years of service. She refused to go and went to Nicholas for help. Nicholas fearing for his child and lover moved her into his estate for her protection. Azazeal had an ace up his sleeve, Valerie. He used her to get information from both the Fafners and the vampires.

In desperation Arabella called upon Laurana for help. Both being witches they knew if they could find another they could bind Azazeal away. Laurana learned that Valerie was a spy but also that she too was being threated by Azazeal. She then convinced her to help them bind Azazeal and free her sister’s soul.

The three witches bound Azazeal away, at least for now. They also bound themselves together forming a coven. Nicholas also promised to protected them all as a thank you.

Now the coven has a new threat, a threat within…
